Do I need Wi-Fi for Birde to work?Updated a year ago

A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network connection is needed for two reasons. 

1. To download new Birde Seeds and/or Tap and Play Books.

2. To pair your Birde Player to a compatible smart TV. 

Once a Seed or Book's digital content has been downloaded, your Birde Player does not need to be connected to Wi-Fi for play. This makes Birde Players portable and ready to take on many adventures. 

If you don't have home Wi-Fi, you can download new Seeds or Books to your Birde Player by using a Wi-Fi hotspot.
