Setting up your Birde Smart Phone App

Your Birde Player requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Step by step instructions on connecting your Birde Player.

How to pair your Birde Player to a Wi-Fi Network

If you have a new Birde Seed or Tap & Play Book, you will need to download the music, story or video content to your Birde Player before it can be played.

<p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 14px;">If you have a new Birde Seed or Tap &amp; Play Book, you will need to download the music, story or video content to your Birde Player before it can be played. To do this:</span></p><ol><li style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Turn your Birde Player on and check that it is connected to Wi-Fi. To do this open your app and ensure your Birde is listed as Currently Active in the Devices tab.</span></li><li style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Tap the new Seed or Book against the Birde Player, a notification will be sent to your app telling you there is new content available.</span></li><li style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Open your app and accept the download. Your Birde will begin to download the Seed or Book (the speed of the download will depend on your Wi-Fi connection and the size of the file held on the Seed or Book that you&apos;re downloading).</span></li><li style="line-height: 2;">Once that download process is completed, your music, story or video will play when the corresponding Seed or Book is tapped against the Birde Player. Or&#xA0;you can select to play a certain track via the Birde App.</li></ol><p style="line-height: 2;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Tip! When you buy new Seeds or Books, make sure you checkout using the same email address you used to set up your Birde app. This will allow all the digital files to be added to your account immediately and downloaded to your Birde Player. So, when Seeds or Books arrive in the mail, they will be able to be played right away.</span></p>

How to download new Birde Seeds + Tap & Play Books

Search for &#x2018;BirdeTV&#x2019; and download our TV App.</span></li><li style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Enter the same Birde username and password you created in your Birde Smart Phone App.</span></li><li style="line-height: 2;">Turn your Birde Player on and wait for it to say,&#xA0;&#x201C;TV Connected&#x201D;. The Birde will light up blue which indicates it is connected to the TV.</li><li style="line-height: 2;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Tap a Video Seed against the Birde Player to play the video on the TV.</span></li></ol>

How to connect your Birde to your Smart TV

Your Birde will be delivered with charge so there is no need to charge before first use. Place the charging dock on a flat surface and place your Birde on the dock.
